Twitter introduced a new feature called “Lists” today and giving access for this beta feature for few accounts only. All users will get this feature after beta testing.

Still twitter facing problem and going through hard time. As per the reports from the development team ,Today-12 of August 2009 also Twitter facing attacks .

A couple of months ago, social media analytics firm Sysomos closely analyzed the people on Twitter and how the service was being used. What it found, among other things, was that five percent of Twitter’s 11.5 million accounts post about 75% of all the tweets. That led the firm to dig in deeper on that five percent.

I am too late to know that due to online attacks this all giants switched off their servers for few hours on Thursday (06/08/09) Tweeple (people using twitter) and Face book addicts did not know ,what to do next to run their next hours of the day.

Some times big Brothers like Twitter also makes mistake.But it  lets few millions of users suffer.The mistake now identified is the simplicity of the server password they use(Yes password was “password”). A hacker calling himself “Hacker Croll broke” succeeded in getting into Twitters Admin area using one employees email .

A teenage girl was electrocuted after dropping her laptop into the bath as she twittered in the tub.

There is a need to shorten the web site address to share it online conveniently via some services today.
URL(Uniform Resource Locater) is the address of a web site.The length of the url of a page may be differ.  If you want to share the a lengthy web address  like : http://pspezone.com/vblog/blogging-tips/how-to-create-you-first-free-blog-guide-part-2/ with your friend via email you may copy and paste it directly .
But if you want to share it in twitter ,it will not allow more than 140 characters so you have to make it short without loosing …
