A new Nokia phone is getting ready to join the ranks of dust and water resistant phones. The new device – called Nokia 3720 (perhaps “classic” is not a wild guess here) – is IP54 certified, meaning it’s dust and splash resistant.

Two more new devices has been Unveiled at the Nokia’s  Connection 09 event in Singapore. One is E72 and other one is The 5530 Xpress Music. Xpress Music 5530 ends up being a small step down from the Xpress Music 5800 in the Symbian Series 60 5th Edition , offering just EDGE data without any form of 3G (though you’ve still got WiFi). Nokia’s best mobile imaging device, the Nokia N86 8MP, which earlier this year won the prestigious TIPA Award for the Best Mobile Imaging Device in 2009, is now shipping globally.

A new survey shows that 1 in 4 Americans text while driving. That’s not good news for road safety, no sir.
The survey, which was conducted by Vlingo, says that 26 percent of people admit to texting while driving—the implication is that plenty more people text while driving than admit to doing so.
